To import the appraisers for a challenge-level use the main Scoring Program screen to click on the challenge-level you want.  Click the TC Inc or IC Inc count button to bring up the challenge-level.  The screen shot below shows the ML level of Tech, listing the teams competing in that challenge-level.



To import the Team Challenge appraisers and assignments from the Resource Area, click the TC Appraisers button.


To import the Instant Challenge appraisers and assignments from the Resource Area, click the IC Appraisers button.


The dialog box presented is a bit different for TC vs IC.  For instant challenge, you need to set the instant challenge this set of appraisers will be appraising. (more here).  To import appraisers from the Resource Area, click the button Import appraisers from DI HQ.



If you have not "logged-in" to the Resource Area yet, you will be asked to do so prior to the import.


On import, the DI Scoring Program presents a dialog similar to the screen shot below:



The dropdown to the right of each appraiser gives you the choice of: 

  • adding the appraiser, 
  • skipping the appraiser or 
  • indicating the appraiser is the same as one already entered


Once you click the OK button, you should see the Edit Appraisers Dialog populated like the screen shot below.  While you can edit the assignments, this will make the assignments inconsistent with the Resource Area.  Note also that Other Deductions is not handled by the Resource Area and will need to be set.
