The Counts pane lets you see at a glance the state of assigning Officials jobs.

The table toward the top of the pane tells you about all types of attendees. It goes beyond officials to include ADs, RDs and VIPs, but does NOT include team managers or other adults accompanying teams. The states are as follows:

  • Accepted: agreed to come but have not completed their housing registration
  • Conditional: may be able to attend
  • Declined: are unable to attend
  • Reserved: agreed to come and have finished their housing registration

The second table is all about officials assigned by this wizard. The rows of the table correspond to the different Areas that need officials. The Flexible Area holds appraisers that are likely to be invited but are not assigned to an area (aka Spackle). no area refers to officials that completed the application but are not assigned for various reasons such as being unavailable or not a good choice.

The columns of the second table are:

  • No Job: assigned to an area, but not assigned to a job yet
  • Has Job: assigned to an area and to a job
  • Female: number of females assigned a job
  • Male: number of males assigned a job
  • Alums: number of officials assigned a job that claim to have been a kid in the program
  • CMs: number of officials assigned a job that claim to have been a challenge master at the regional, affiliate or global finals level
  • TMs: number of officials assigned a job that claim to have been a team manager
  • Affiliates: of the number of officials assigned a job, the number of different affiliates represented
  • New: number of officials assigned a job that have never been an appraiser at Global Finals
  • GF Years: of the number of officials assigned a job, the sum of the years of experience appraising at Global Finals

Typically you will be looking at the current Global Finals (see title above tabbed wizard pane menu). By changing the current event (My Account => change event), you can look at similar data for prior tournaments.
