To use the Classic Scoring Program (CSP), first you need to download it from the internet.  The version for the current season, is typically available in January.  This version supports the team challenges and instant challenges for the current season.

Check here for instructions on downloading and installing the CSP.  You will find instructions for both Windows and Mac OS. The CSP requires the Java runtime environment.  Instructions on downloading and installing the necessary Java components is also covered.

To start the CSP, click on the CSP icon on your desktop.  You should briefly see a launch page followed by a window showing the last tournament opened by the CSP.  If this is the first time you have started the CSP you will see a test tournament.  The window should be similar to the screen shot below.

Each row is a chal-lev

  • Lvl is the level of the chal-lev
  • Challenge is the team challenge of the chal-lev
  • Num is the number of teams in the chal-lev
  • TC Inc stands for TC Incomplete (ie the number of team whose TC scores are not complete)
  • IC Inc stands for IC Incomplete (ie the number of team whose IC scores are not complete)

TC Inc and IC Inc are both buttons.  Clicking on either will show you the teams in the chal-lev.  We'll discuss this here.
